Print preview

The print preview for printing an analysis view table allows you to change the print settings in print preview and customize the printout. This includes all settings that you can also change using the settings dialog under Print ⇒ Table.

Once you have made all the necessary settings, use the "Print" button in the lower right corner of the dialog or click the "OK" button in the lower right to start the print process and close the print preview.

All the settings in the print preview are described and explained below in categorized form.

General settings:

SettingDescription
fit to page Here you can set whether the table to be printed should be adapted to the page or not.

The following setting options are available:

  • never
  • stretch to fit
  • shrink to fit
  • always
auto size columns The columns of the table to be printed are automatically resized when this function is activated.
repeat header on each page The header of the table is automatically repeated on each new page when this feature is enabled.
auto size rows The rows of the table to be printed are automatically resized when this feature is enabled.
center on page The table to be printed is automatically centered on the page when this function is activated.
print graphics Graphics are printed with this function activated.

Cells:

SettingDescription
Border style Here you can select the border style for the table.

You can choose from the following border styles:

  • solid
  • dashed
  • dotted
  • dash dot
  • dash dot dot
  • none

Printer selection:

SettingDescription
Printer Here you can select the printer to be used for printing.

Page:

SettingDescription
Orientation Here you can adjust the orientation of the page.

The following setting options are available:

  • Portrait
  • Landscape

Margins:

SettingDescription
top margin (mm) Here you can enter the top margin in millimeters.
left margin (mm) Here you can enter the left margin in millimeters.
bottom margin (mm) Here you can enter the bottom margin in millimeters.
right margin (mm) Here you can enter the right margin in millimeters.

Title:

SettingDescription
Title position Here you can set the title position on the page.

The following setting options are available:

  • none
  • top left
  • top right
  • top centered
  • bottom left
  • bottom right
  • bottom centered
Title margin (mm) Here you can specify the title margin to the table in millimeters.

Date/Time:

SettingDescription
Date position Here you can set the date position on the page.

The following setting options are available:

  • none
  • top left
  • top right
  • top centered
  • bottom left
  • bottom right
  • bottom centered
Time position Here you can set the time position on the page.

The following setting options are available:

  • none
  • top left
  • top right
  • top centered
  • bottom left
  • bottom right
  • bottom centered

Page numbers:

SettingDescription
Oage number position Here you can set the page number position on the page.

The following setting options are available:

  • none
  • top left
  • top right
  • top centered
  • bottom left
  • bottom right
  • bottom centered
