LOG settings

Creating a LOG will help you especially when when you are troubleshooting why the WebsiteAnalyser is not working properly or very slow. Enable or disable the write LOG to file simply and quickly using the "checkbox". You can find the settings in the settings dialog under Application ⇒ LOG settings.

So you have the possibility to send us a LOG file to give you better support and to eliminate possible errors or to optimize processes. This function is switched off from the basic settings. No LOG data is stored. The following section explains which data is stored exactly in the LOG file.

LOG settings - database connection:

SettingDescription
Connect Logs all data of the connect to the Firebird database.
Disconnect Logs all data of the disconnect from the Firebird database.

LOG settings - database:

SettingDescription
Add dataset Logs all data when inserting a record into the Firebird database.
Update dataset Logs all data when updating a dataset in the Firebird database.
Select dataset Logs all data when selecting a record or multiple records from the Firebird database.
Database preparation Logs all data when preparing accesses to one or more records in the Firebird database.

LOG settings - HTTP:

HTTP Head Logs all data at HTTP access to the header of a URL.
HTTP Get Logs all data in HTTP access to the data of a URL.
HTTP errors Logs all HTTP errors while accessing the header of a URL or the data of a URL.

LOG settings - URL:

SettingDescription
URL encoding Logs all data when encoding a URL.
URL preparation Logs all data when preparing a URL before processing or before saving it to the database.
URL validation Logs all data when checking a URL before processing or before saving it to the database.
