WebsiteAnalyser GDPR Edition released

WebsiteAnalyser GDPR Edition Splash English

After several months of further development we have extended the product variants of the WebsiteAnalyser by the WebsiteAnalyser GDPR Edition and updated the 3 existing variants of the WebsiteAnalyser (Lite, Standard and Professional). The GDPR Edition of the WebsiteAnalyser will be available during the launch phase for 39,99 €, contains no restrictions of the amount of analysable websites and includes 1 year of free updates. The detailed product description of the WebsiteAnalyser and its variants can be found at

The GDPR Edition was developed especially after the DSGVO (in the English language area GDPR) came into force on 25.05.2018 and currently offers a total of 62 analysis views, of which 47 are dealing with the topic DSGVO/GDPR. A pure overview of the analysis results on the subject of DSGVO/GDPR can be found in the list "DSGVO/GDPR Summary", in which the data is prepared and summarised.

By analyzing each individual URL, including its source code, during the website analysis with the WebsiteAnalyser, it is possible to find Scripts and HTML Codes of the various possible incompliances/problems in relation to the DSGVO/GDPR directly. These are prepared in the analysis views and displayed as a list of URLs. In the majority of the analysis views you will find not only the URL but also a snippet of the source code in which the problem was detected.

WebsiteAnalyser GDPR Edition Dashboard View English

This simplifies the later removal or assessment of the problem, because it is not always necessary to remove or adapt scripts and not every use of a script or the installation of a function or "code snippet" represents a violation of the DSGVO/GDPR or makes the owner of the homepage cautionable. Often it is also enough to add certain passages to the data protection declaration of the website or to modify existing passages. This should be decided by the website owner and/or the webmaster according to the source code.

Another focus of the WebsiteAnalyser is the dashboard, which gives you an overview of the analyzed and stored data. In the GDPR edition, the detailed views with the URL lists are not available for all analysis results of the dashboard. This is only to give you an overview.

The further analysis views of the WebsiteAnalyser GDPR Edition deal with the topic of linking and HTTP statuscodes. Here you have the possibility to find incorrect links, so-called "broken links" or links to non-existent contents. In the "extended link data view" you will find a possibility to find out on which URLs the faulty link is located in the sourcecode, and to remove or correct it. This is only one of the possible uses of the analysis views for linking and HTTP statuscode.

DSGVO GDPR Summary Report View English

The WebsiteAnalyser GDPR Edition, like the other 3 variants of the WebsiteAnalyser, generates a report for each of the analysis views and also offers the possibility to export the lists of the analysis views into the XLS, the CSV and other file formats. The lists can be forwarded as worklists to the webmaster or the webdesigner for implementation or error correction, printed or saved as PDF files.

In addition, you can generate an analysis report including all data of the analysis views and the domain and print it or save it as a PDF file. An "extended link data view" can also be generated for each URL, in which the data of this specific URL is prepared. You can also create a URL report for each URL and save or print it as a PDF file.

The report template manager of the other 3 variants of the WebsiteAnalyser is also included in the GDPR Edition. Here you can create a suitable look for customizing the URL reports, the analysis report and the reports of the analysis views. However, as in the Lite version, the number of report templates is limited to one.

Furthermore, the WebsiteAnalyser contains a media downloader, which allows you to download media data (image files, audio files, video files) according to the MIME Type (data type). For example, it would be possible to download all image files in JPEG or PNG format.

Also, the integrated XML Sitemap Assistant allows you to combine all URLs of your website in one XML Sitemap. You can then "submit" them to Google, for example, and provide Google with a complete list of their URLs for indexing, which is the process of adding a URL to the Google search engine database.
