Analysis process

The WebsiteAnalyser analysis process begins by entering the URL to analyse into the input field or by selecting a previously parsed URL. Thereafter, the analysis process can be started using the "Enter" button or by clicking on the "Start analysis" button.

Start analysis toolbar of the WebsiteAnalyser

When entering the URL to analyse, you can enter it with or without a protocol. If the WebsiteAnalyser detects that no protocol has been entered, you will see a dialog with an appropriate selection. Select the matching protocol here and click on the "OK" button to proceed with the analysis.

Now the WebsiteAnalyser checks if there is a redirect from the URL you entered. If a redirection is found, it will be displayed as a selection in a dialog. Here you can now choose whether you want to use the original URL for the analysis or directly the URL to which you are redirected. For multilingual sites and shops, it may be useful to use the original URL. Select the desired URL here and click on the "OK" button to proceed with the analysis.

The actual analysis process begins now. First, you'll see only one selected URL in the progress view. Here the domain analysis is done before the further URLs of the domain are analysed. In the progress view of the analysis, you see a separate row with the URL and an associated percentage ad for each thread (parallel process). You can also see the overall percentage of progress in the header area as well as basic information about the ongoing analysis.
